Museum education workshop: "Stories" - traditional motifs from Bihor

📌The activity is organized and supported by Dr. Simona Bala, museographer at the Ethnography Section of the museum institution, in partnership with designer Dorin Negrău. It is aimed at school-age children. For this purpose:

✅they will be introduced to the world of traditional ornaments;
✅they will find out what their meaning is and how they are a source of inspiration for the Bihor designer in the creations with which he is present on the New York podium.

🔍In the second part of the activity, there will be a presentation of traditional motifs and their recognition in a treasure hunt in the permanent exhibition of the Ethnography Section.

🏛️On May 30, an exhibition will be organized that will bring together the works of the children participating in the workshop Ia cu "povesti" - traditional motifs from Bihor, inspired by the ornaments presented within it.
